Saturday 2/23/2013, We went to Clackamas Town center. At Starbucks, there was a few ladies sitting down and I asked them if they wanted prayer. They both wanted prayer so we started praying. One of them had a cane so I asked her what happened. She said old age and bad legs, so I shared with her how a guy’s knees got healed the night before. She let me pray and started walking shocked because all the pain left her legs. Her daughter was like, “You better be praising Jesus up in here!” God is so awesome.
We came across a large group of oriental kids. I asked if anyone would like prayer and they said they were Buddhist. I shared a few testimonies of Jesus and started getting words over a girl and she said that was right on. As I started speaking to her, the rest of the kids ran away but she got touched. After that, we prayed for a guy in a wheel chair who injured his spine. He said he felt heat flow up us back when we prayed but said his back felt the same. After that we prayed for a lady with a cane who had a stroke, but no breakthrough. We prayed over a young couple and started getting words over them that were accurate. They both were encouraged by that. The girl’s dad was a pastor, and she was really encouraged.
After that we mobbed around praying for a bunch of people. One guy was walking on a crutch. I had his six year old son pray over his ankle with us and the pain left completely. After that, we went to tables of teenagers in the food courts and asked if anyone would like prayer or if they had any pain in their bodies. I wasn’t getting any words over them and some of the groups laughed at us.
I saw a girl with crutches, so I chased her down the escalator to pray. Her friends recognized me and told her she needs to let me pray. One of them testified how I prayed over his finger a while ago and the pain left and it started to go back in place right after I prayed. I asked him if he still had issues with it, he said a little so we prayed again and his finger was totally healed and full movement restored. We kept praying over the girl’s leg and nothing was happening. Then I had her boyfriend pray and she said she felt heat and that it felt better.
After that we went back up the escalator and I asked three kids by the bathrooms if they would like prayer and they asked me if I would like prayer. I said yes, I always need prayer. So they prayed over Chelsea and I. I blessed them in return and started getting words over each of them that fit with where they were at in life and how the Lord wanted to use them. They were really impacted.
All and all, it was kind of a rough day. A lot of rejection but some break through. Praise the Lord for those he did heal and for letting me be used for His glory. God is amazing, His goodness doesn’t change. I’ve noticed, if you start praying for the sick and seeking to bring the Kingdom, there are going to be days that are draining, or that it doesn’t seem like God is doing much. Be obedient to what you have, and He will give you more. Give your discouragement to the Lord. Also, if you’re not seeing breakthrough in an area, cry out to the Lord until you see that breakthrough come. We are growing in this thing and we have been given one model to grow into, Jesus. I need to know Him more so represent Him better. I need a deeper revelation of His love for others. He is good, all the time.
Heavenly Father, thank You and praise You! You are amazing, thank You for Your love. Thank You for the privilege of being Your son. Thank You that I can live my life to serve You. You are amazing, You are worthy Lord, praise You! Jesus, You are amazing. I want to be just like You.
