Saturday, 5/5/2012, As we headed out, and we were praying together as a group, the Lord put in my heart that we were going to be witnessing to a lot of broken people and heroin addicts. We went out to Lloyd center and went up to a homeless lady in the park. We gave her socks and some granola bars and asked if we can pray. She said that she needed prayer for everything, so we prayed first for physical healing. Then, we prayed for her and her daughter’s relationship and she broke down crying. I felt God’s love so intense for her. After that, I spoke the Lord’s heart to her and noticed a pentagram on her backpack, and I pointed at it and told her that that symbol was evil. She said she just read a book that said it was for protection, and we witnessed to her a little bit. Then, she told us she had something evil inside of her, so we prayed and rebuked it. She said she felt sick to her stomach when we were praying and then felt peace. After that, we prayed over a bunch of people. I prayed over one guy in the park and got a word over him about a musical anointing. He was a drummer. Then we went and prayed over a guy who had a drug addiction, he said he felt something come over him after we prayed, that he felt all lite, I said it was God’s presence and we shared the gospel with him.
After that, we prayed over a few more people and got on the max and headed down to Pioneer Square. We got off the street before Pioneer Square and stood there listening to a friend play music on the corner. Then, Holy Spirit put spoke to my heart to cross the street. We crossed the street and ran into two homeless people, a guy and a girl really beat down by drug addiction. I prayed over the guy and prayed over the girl, her name is Dee. When I prayed over the girl, she started crying and broke down. I was feeling intense empathy for her. God longs to heal them so much, yet the enemy has them on a hook with heroin.
After ministering to them and praying for them, the Spirit directed us to a group of about 10 teenagers. We went over and started talking to them and at first no one wanted prayer, but they were cool about me us talking to them. One guy just got a ticket for marijuana and he was upset so I asked if I can pray for him to have favor in the courts. He let me pray and that impacted him. Then the guy next to him wanted prayer to get off heroin. I prayed over him and talked to him. I found out he grew up in a Christian home where Christianity never got passed the religion. He had no clue about God’s love for him, and that he can enter into a real relationship with Him, so I shared the gospel with him and it really impacted him hard. As I was sharing the gospel, another kid walked up to me and said that he didn’t believe in God but every time he hears the gospel being shared he feels something off of it. Later I got prophetic words over the kid who wanted to quit. He had such an amazing heart, he was the type of person who looks after those around him like a protector, and he had a loyalty to his friends that is rarely found among drug addicts. He was really touched by the Lord. We gave them socks, “Socks are gold on the streets,” and that opened up a connection to talk to them more. One kid said his back hurt so I prayed and he said it felt better. A girl was hanging out with them named Hillary, she was a Christian and we prayed over her fiber myalgia, not sure if she was healed or not.

After that, the two people we were ministering to earlier started hanging around the crowd and the guy got some heroin and wouldn’t share it with the girl. They started cussing each other out, and the girl broke down crying on the corner as the guy threatened to drop it in a puddle on the streets to watch it dissolve. He then left to go use, and the girl was still there crying. My wife went up to her and started ministering to her in a way that no guy could. She had a lot of abuse from guys so my wife was able to reach her heart in a lot deeper way. The guy I prayed for earlier said this kind of drama happens every day, and I felt so moved remembering my past. After that we headed home and prayed over a few more people on the way.

While my wife was still ministering to the girl, three other guys walked by and I started talking to them. One of the guy back was hurt so I prayed and the Lord healed him. He had a guitar so he let me jam on it a little bit. I asked the other guy if I could pray a blessing over him and he said ok, he said his name was Roger I think, but his friends call him no name. I told him that he had a name, and that God made him for a reason. I prayed for him and then they left. After that, we headed home praying over a few more people on the way.

There is such brokenness in this world, such bondage and oppression. We serve a God who set the captives free, who undid heavy burdens, who healed the sick, who comforted the broken. We have a God who is the brightest light in the darkest places. He longs for these kids; I felt His heart so intensely. He is jealous for them; His heart is hurting for them and longing for them to be restored. I was blessed to feel His heart for them.

Lord, Daddy, King of the universe, and lover of these children. Lord, Daddy, I need more of You. I can’t reach them without You. I know how much You long for them, how You cry for them. Lord, break through this Lord. Lord, destroy the works of the devil in their lives, break them free from the bondage of addiction. Lord, draw them to know You as their Daddy. I pray for amazing grace for each one of them. They need You so much, they need Your love. Lord, raise up workers who will share Your heart for them, who will love them like You love them. Lord, send me, I’ll go. Empower me to show Your heart more clear! Lord, I pray for more open doors to witness and reach out to them. More open doors to share Your love for them. They need You Lord. Daddy, they need You. I pray against the orphan spirit that is suffocating them, Lord, Daddy, bring them into the Spirit of Adoption, let them come to know You as their Daddy, Praise You and thank You. You are all they need. Thank You for the glory that is going to be revealed in them. In Jesus precious and holy name amen.

Luke 7: 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”

40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”

So he said, “Teacher, say it.”

41 “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?”

43 Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.”

And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45 You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

48 Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
