Saturday 6/8/2013, after seeing a few miracles break out at Rehoboth Messianic Congregation, we were planning on going to Lloyd Center. On the way home I had a vision of Clackamas Town Center and I felt the Lord prompt me to go there. We did a prayer walk around the town center, anointing ever exit. Right when we got passed the movie theater exit, Holy Spirit was like “Go back!” So we went back and saw two guys sitting on a bench.
I asked them if I could bless them and pray for them and they said yes. Both of them were at a turning point in their lives and they were both trying to kick drugs. I started praying over them and the Lord started revealing how awesome He made them. I also heard shoulder and one of the guys shoulder was hurting. After a quick prayer, his shoulder was healed. Then, I heard knees and he also had no cartilage in his knees. We prayed and he felt heat. Then he tested it and his knees didn’t pop for the first time in years. Dem, Chris, and I talked with them a while and listened where they came from and wow, God is going to use them both so powerfully. If that was the only thing that happened, it would have made the whole night worth it. God is so good!
While were talking to them, a kid walked by with his arm in a cast. We prayed and felt heat in his bones and all the pain left. There’s no way to see if it were fully healed with a cast like that so the next time he gets it x-rayed, he’ll see if it’s healed.
We continued our walk around the mall, and then went inside. I kept seeing people I wanted to talk to but I felt like the Spirit was on a mission. He lead us through the food courts back outside and we saw some kids sitting on a bench. The girl had pain in her knees, we prayed and the pain didn’t leave. Then, I started to get words over her about her talents and character, and then started to get words over the guy also. We prayed over them and blessed them and went inside.
We came across three guys at a table. I asked if I could bless them and we started to get words over them and they were really impacted by it. After that, we prayed for them and they said they felt a weight lift off of them and felt peace. One guy said it was the highlight of his day. We prayed for his eye sight to be restored and he felt something going on with his eyes but the vision wasn’t restored yet, but they were really touched by the Lord. We shared with him the simplicity of Christ and living in His love. They were all believers.
After that, we started walking around the mall. I saw a couple walking by and the guys hand was in a brace. I caught up to them and I asked him what happened and he said he crushed it. I asked to let me pray assuring him it would be healed. The girl asked if I was a Christian, I said yes and she said @*$# off in an angry tone and they started walking away. It’s crazy that people can be so shut off to Gods love and God still pursues them with his arms wide open, waiting to embrace them in His love. That is the example we have the privilege to represent.
After that, we went downstairs and there was a young kid covered in beads and hippy clothing. I asked if I could bless him and he said yes. His knee was hurting so after a quick prayer, the Lord healed him and he was hit with God’s peace. I felt like he was going to be a powerhouse when he turns to the Lord.
We were walking around the bottom floor and store manager to one of the cell phone company’s was talking and the Lord put it on my heart to bless him. We went in the store and found out he was a believer and one of his employees was a youth pastor. We honored him and prayed over him.
After that, there was a family standing by the fish pond. I felt the Lord say, go talk to them, so I asked them if they would like prayer. They looked at me shocked and said yes. We prayed over their family and blessed them. Then, the mother said that they were catholic and she had been praying for the Lord to give them direction and that morning someone knocked on their door just to pray with them because God put it on their hearts. The Dad then shared his testimony that he was reading a book about the Lord and the Holy Spirit filled him and he was crying, then the Lord changed him. He was no longer an alcoholic. The mom wanted prayer because she was a recovering from an opiate addiction. It’s crazy how God times everything perfectly.
After that, we went through the mall and prayed over a bunch of people; God opening up doors through prophecy and words of knowledge. Then we came across a guy with a large Mohawk. We started talking to him and he was going to Portland Bible College to be a youth pastor. He was passionate about seeing metal heads come to the Lord. We got to pray with him. He also had an awesome tattoo of a broken pentagram showing that through the power of the crucifixion Jesus crushed the powers of the enemy.
Right after that, we started talking to a guy who was in bondage to homosexuality. We got words over him and shared with him what the Lord was doing. Then, we prayed over him and he felt the Presence. After that, I got a word about his lower back hurting and we prayed for him. This encounter left no question about God being right there for him with open arms.
After that, the group that came and helped out at our first conference was there in the mall and started talking to us. Lilly and Frankie were asked to teach the youth evangelism and we all prayed together about that. We all gathered in a circle and started praying. This was in front of the guy we just prayed for. One of their friends was pregnant and had diabetes because of the pregnancy. After a quick prayer she felt heat fill her body and I saw in the spirit something lift from her.
God is so awesome! I see why he wanted us at Clackamas today. It’s crazy how each time we go out is completely different from any other time. Today I feel we connected with a lot of people that we’ll be connected with for a long time. God is opening so many doors and longing for his people to catch on fire.
Testimonies that bring glory to God.
