On 7/21/2012 we hit up Holiday park next to Lloyd center. We came across one guy with a messed up shoulder. We prayed a few times and he said he felt peace overcome a lot of things in his heart but he didn’t get healed. After that we ran into a guy with a sign offering prayer and we got to pray with him. Then, we came across a handful of skater kids. I asked if anyone had any pain in their body and one guy said his knee hurt. After praying a few times his knee felt better, then another kid wanted prayer for his knee and he was healed. Then another kid walked up and he busted his finger, it was all swollen and we prayed a few times and it was healed. Then we started giving prophetic words over each of them. One of the kids said he was a Muslim but he respected what I believed. So, this left a stage to share the Gospel with an emphasis on grace. Then we headed to Skidmore fountain and started exploring old town.
Once we got into Old town we started praying for a few kids and some of the homeless. We prayed for a few people that didn’t get healed but they felt blessed to be prayed for. We came across a girl who broke her foot and we all prayed over it until it was better, praise the Lord. We started going around the shops witnessing and came across some hostility. I saw a guy with no socks so I asked him if he would like some and he cussed me out because I didn’t realize how expensive his shoes were. After that, we prayed over a few more people and got rejected by a few more we started to head back to the max. There was a guy and his girlfriend or wife sitting on the building by the Rescue Mission. The guy had shoulder problems and after a quick prayer his shoulders were healed. His girl had a problem with her foot so we prayed a few times until it felt better. We came across a few girls sitting on blankets. One of the girls started telling us how today was the first time she prayed and said she needed a miracle and then another lady took her aside later on and started sharing the gospel with her. She broke her finger so we prayed and the swelling went way down and it started feeling a little better. My wife prayed over the other girl and she broke down crying.
We headed down to Pioneer square and helped a guy in a wheel chair out. He was waiting for the Max and needed help get on it. He was paralyzed on his left side. We prayed and prayed for him and he said he felt so much love. He had a smile that lights up the area with joy. He wasn’t healed yet but that moved my heart so much. We need to be more filled to reach these needs. After that, we prayed over a few homeless guys, one guy had a broken hand and it didn’t set right. It didn’t get healed. Then, we went back on the Max and headed to the Lloyd center. I asked an older guy if he would like prayer for anything and shared with him with the Lord’s been doing. He smiled and said he was good. He was really touched that I asked though. We got off the max and that guy came up to me and asked me for prayer for throat cancer, so we prayed. I can’t remember his name but keep him in prayer for a full healing.
After that, we started walking through the max stop. My wife started talking to two girls while I started talking to two guys in business suits. They both had pain in their lower backs and the Lord took away the pain. Then, I got prophetic words over both of them. As we were walking back, one of the guys came up to us and started talking to us. He was a Mormon who is seeking a deep relationship with the Lord so we started sharing about intimacy with the Lord and grace. It was such a blessed conversation. God is amazing.
