Saturday, 9/15/2012, the Lord instructed me to wear my owl shirt today. We prayed and felt that the Lord was leading us to the Skatepark on 82nd In Portland. So we went to the store to pick stuff up to hand out, and as we were walking out I stopped to talk to a lady and her mom. I said that I felt love towards them and I wanted to bless them. Turns out, the lady’s sister just pasted away and they were heart broken over that. So I prayed for comfort over them and saw a vision like an x-ray of the lower back and hips. So I asked if she had problems and it turns out her disks and hips were messed up. After a quick prayer she started dancing. Then, she started tripping on my shirt saying she knows that we came from God because of my shirt. It was the mother kept saying that it was her mom’s favorite bird. Think about it. God loved this lady so much that He would instruct a random stranger to wear a shirt that would bring confirmation that God is there on top of healing her back. What an amazing and radical God we serve.

After that, we got to the skatepark. They were receptive because we were handing out goodies but at first there was a division. We hung around and got to talk to a few of them. We got some prophetic words over some in the beginning but mostly just hanging out. There were two kids riding a bike and we started talking to them. We prophesied over both of them and then the Lord healed one of their knees. They were impacted but mostly felt loved. Then we got more goodies and hung around the main crown. There were four awesome guys on the side talking. I went up to them and prophesied over them and they were blown away. One of the kids said that I could use his board if I needed to because that was the craziest thing he’s ever saw. God is so amazing. Then Joe busted out the anointed awesome guitar and one kid said he wished he could play. I prayed for him to be blessed with playing. I handed him the guitar and showed him two cords and a strum and said play. Within under a minute he got it down having never played a guitar before. We prophesied over a bunch in the group but mostly today was about establishing a relationship with them. I believe God is going to keep bringing us back there to minister.
