My prayer time by the river was blessed with insight as I was praising God and contemplating His glory... Oh how Glorious He is! His love is Glorious! He showed me, that the water I was standing in, the air surrounding me, the tree leaves glittering with light, the birds twirling in the sky, the sun bursting through the clouds…everything around me… has His love inside of of them. The very essence of His love is integrated into everything He created. The universe, every tiny part of it, is made with His love in it... His love is an integral part of everything He made. Not only is God’s love with us, it is in us, and it is all around us… from the very air we breath, to the light and heat that warms us, to the water that refreshed us, to the food that nourishes us, to everything living and non living thing that surrounds us…the entire universe, ‘the heavens and the earth’ He created…has Gods love engrained in it! God’s love is the very heartbeat of His creation. He loves His creation. He loves me. I can completely trust Him, the God who created the entire universe with love, to complete the good work He began in me… I’m to stay present with Him and He will show me the way… ‘even the tiniest act of love is part of the foundation of the of the universe.’ God’s love is Glorious! 🙏Glorious God, loving creator of the heavens and the earth, we praise you, we thank you, we exalt you… Holy holy holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come… ✝️🕊🙏

The summer before high school I went to church camp. That was where I had a life changing encounter with the Holy Spirit. During evening service I asked the Lord to come into my life. He became my Lord and Savior and I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit filled me and I began speaking in tongues. I didn't even know what that was. The entire room was radiating with otherworldly light and the presence of God was thick with love within me and all around me. I was a new creation in Christ. When I went home everyone told me how much I had changed. I was overflowing with His Love. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV « 17. I sit in my big green chair OR go to my special prayer place… I wait quietly for God, to be in His presence. I read Psalm 62:1-2 & 5-8 I listen, hear, pray in the Spirit, trust and pour out my heart to Him.  As He leads, I go to scripture and I follow the path He shows me. I pray Isaiah 55 (and ask for my thoughts and my ways to be ‘higher like His’). I do ongoing chapter readings - currently from Jeremiah, Matthew, Acts, and John - including reference and word studies, followed by prayer/ worship/intercession… In the summer it’s peaceful with the sound of birds, the river, and wind-chimes through my open window… Sometimes I go to my special place just to pray, praise, and thank God. I go just to be with Him. For His loving kindness endures forever…
