I decided to research John G Lake for this assignment. He has some incredible testimonies of the healing power of God. One of his testimonies was about his sister who actually died and hee body went cold and there was no pulse. When he arrived to se her he felt something rise up in him which he described to be as the wrath of God against death and sickness. He prayed for her to to be fully healed and brought back to life with others. She came back to life and was able to be there for Christmas dinner five days later! What a testimony!

I had a different experience waiting on the glory than I expected. After pressing in for about a half hour a tangible peace washed over me. In this peace everything got put in perspective. I realized the foolishness and the temporary nature of many of the things I was worrying about. I was expecting to encounter a more Holy/charged aspect of God but He decided to reveal abundant peace instead.

I belive that I have had many encounters with the Holy Spirit. So far my encounters with Him seem more subtle than what I have observed in others at times. To me, His presence had a particular "flavor" can at times feel sharp and powerful and electric and at other times more soft and comforting. I believe that I have yet to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and desire for that to happen to me.

My devotional time with the Lord is at times more structured and at other times more fluid. Recently I started doing the 10x4 more regularly than not. I love to worship, pray, journal, hear from the Lord, and read scripture. I'm feeling called deeper in this season during my devotional time and have historically hung out more on the surface. I don't want to live there anymore and want to dive deep into Gods heart and know Him from that place.
