Good question, I believe humanity still bears the image of God, but at the moment of sin, imortality took on mortality and our bodies, made of the ground took up the curse of death. As sin took a hold we drifted father from the image God created us, (Character, nature, etc.). The image of God is restored in Christ Jesus, we are being transformed inwardly as it reflects outwordly, but when He is revealed to the world, our mortal bodies are going to take on imortaltiy taking on the full image of the Lord.

1 The Sons of God are those who have been born again (John 1:12) 2. God will reveal the Sons of God in stages. Right now, we have this treasure in earthen vessels (2 Cor 4:7) and the Kingdom is within us as we get to demonstrate a coming Kingdom. We have been given power and authority over all the powers of the enemy (Luke 10:19) but these bodies still die, though we will live forever. We also see at His coming there will be wheat and Tares (Matt 13:24-30) 3. Scripture ties His coming to our full glorification, while I believe before His coming the Church will reach a maturity that has never been seen before the fullness of that will be when we are caught up with Him (2 Thess 1:10, 1 Cor 15:46-54 1 John 3:1-3, Col 3:4). 4. Yes, we still are to steward his creation, while we still see the nations of this earth will gather against Christ under the antichrist system, God has given us authority and what we do has an impact on the world around us. Our job is to occupy until He comes as the parables of the Talents and Minas show us (Matt 25, Luke 19:11-24) 5. Yes, we have a job at improving the world around us which is linked directly to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing in the harvest. As people get set free, they set others free.
